Psaros Teams up with Nissan to Support Sustainability

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, West Australian property developer Psaros has teamed up with Nissan to introduce an electric vehicle - the EV Leaf – to the company’s fleet.

Psaros CEO Danny Psaros said the company’s unwavering passion for sustainability meant the partnership with Nissan was a perfect fit.

“With increasing transport needs, the rising cost of fuel, the need for Australia to reduce its carbon dioxide emission and concerns about air pollution, we firmly believe Electric Vehicles are the way of the future,” he said.

The initiative will see the Psaros team using a Nissan Leaf while on the road, helping to promote the Nissan vehicle and encouraging the use of electric cars. It will also help to educate Psaros and the broader community about the capabilities of the car, its recharge technicalities, the online support system and the overall benefits for users.

The Australian Electric Vehicle recharge supplier Charge Point will supply a station at the Psaros commercial premises as part of the initiative.

Since the start of 2013, Psaros has also committed to provide electric vehicle charge stations in its developments.

“As developers who build affordable and sustainable apartments in Perth, we believe it is imperative to include recharge capabilities in each of our develpments to support electric vehicle technology” Mr Psaros said.
