Another first in sustainable apartment design for Perth property developer, Psaros.
A new ground-breaking project on the city’s edge featuring the world’s highest citrus garden.
Edge by Psaros, in addition to the Psaros signature sustainability initiatives such as solar power and solar passive design, also features its own citrus grove with lemon and orange trees.
“The trees are planted on the 6th floor recreation deck, situated 30m above the ground. Not only is it a WA first, but it’s also the highest citrus garden in the world,” said CEO Danny Psaros.
“If Perth is to limit the urban sprawl and embrace higher density living – it’s important as developers that we make it possible for residents to still enjoy some suburban benefits – such as sustainable, organic gardening.”
Mr Psaros said the 6th floor citrus grove is just one of the many exciting things about Edge, as it shares the recreation deck with an infinity pool and sun deck that offers breathtaking views.
“Developers are increasingly adding interesting and functional elements to their developments to enhance the quality of life for residents, the citrus garden is a first for Perth and marks a milestone in what can be achieved when design meets lifestyle,” said Head of Sustainability, Chiara Pacifici.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
